Qualification for the post of SISTER GRADE-II

Matriculation or equivalent
Certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery & should be registered “A” grade Nurse and Midwife with state nursing council with upper age limit of 30 years.
Above equivalent qualification for male nurses.

CITIZENSHIP FOR THE POST

A candidate must be

A Citizen of India, or
A Subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who come over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East
African countries of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly
Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethoipia, and Vietnam with the
intention of permanently settling in India.

Upper Age Limit

For general candidate 30 years
For Sc/ST and Government Servants* 5 years
For OBC 3 years
For Physically handicapped candidates 10 years
